How does one know when Mr. Dan is balancing rocks in Sausalito or San Francisco so we can come watch him?

We were not aware of when Mr. Dan balances. Clearly, some may not withstand the incoming tide, so I would imagine for the number we saw, he does do it somewhat regularly. The …
