Take a taxi or uber. Do not take the CTA at that hour. It is dangerous, although it is very direct and cheap.

Hi Sue. The cheapest option and my preference is public transportation - the Blue Line. It will cost $5 per rider and you can board from terminal 2. It will drop you off a few blocks from Wacker giving you a nice opportunity to walk and view downtown. The most expensive option is taxi and depending on the time of the morning, you may sit in traffic. Taxis here are always my last pick. Enjoy Chicago!
