What can I say? We spent 4 nights here in March 2021. Beautiful spot! When we arrived, the dam was at 13% capacity, and 24hrs later it was over 50%! Man we got some rain... Only managed a handful of … Full review by scraggy81_adam

We stopped here to find out about the caves that the dam has covered. The owners of the caravan park are very knowledgeable and have newspaper cuttings, science papers and photos you can browse. Ther… Full review by fluffydiver

The park must have been built with high expectations of travellers throughput. Unfortunately with COVID and the drought, a massive camp ground with no campers. dam empty and rivers dry. Full review by Zorrrrrrrro

Are there any fairly easy walking trails around the cabin sites up to around 10 k? Also heard a few reports that the cabins do t have very good facilities like hot water, toilets etc? Is this true thanks? Planning a day and one night there mid November. Can I fish from the bank?

Hi Ian haven't done any walking there but there appears to be a variety of walking trails of different lengths and degrees so I think OK on that. The cabins don't have inbuilt toilets but there are ample toilet blocks handy that are large and clean. Yes I have fished from the bank once but a kayak or a boat is what I usually use. The creeks and rivers fish very well for Cod I caught a 90 cm Cod on a Barambah Dragon lure on the surface from the Dumeresq river. I also do recommend the mole river. Up or downsteam from the local school
