Are there any fairly easy walking trails around the cabin sites up to around 10 k? Also heard a few reports that the cabins do t have very good facilities like hot water, toilets etc? Is this true thanks? Planning a day and one night there mid November. Can I fish from the bank?

Hi Ian haven't done any walking there but there appears to be a variety of walking trails of different lengths and degrees so I think OK on that. The cabins don't have inbuilt toilets but there are ample toilet blocks handy that are large and clean. Yes I have fished from the bank once but a kayak or a boat is what I usually use. The creeks and rivers fish very well for Cod I caught a 90 cm Cod on a Barambah Dragon lure on the surface from the Dumeresq river. I also do recommend the mole river.
