We could definitely spend the entire day here. The new exhibit was immersive and fun to experience. The view from the tower is also a must see.Full review by Ann D

Saw the machine love exhibition, it was thought provoking and inspiring. The exhibits were mostly high-tech with a lot spent on production, well worth the 2200 yen admission and it was not too crowde…Full review by WernMachine

Hi, I had the same question when we visited last month. We just showed up at 9:30 and got in about 10 minutes later. I suggest you go early. We were there for the open and were enjoying ourselves so much that 4 HOURS passed before we looked up. Still stayed another 90 minutes. ENJOY. So Much Fun!

If it's the museum only I would recommend spending 1-2 hours. There is a huge variety of interactive art installations. It's hard to resist it. Additionally, add another hour or two if you are going to the top floor to see the view of Tokyo. FYI, the entrance to the terrace is an additional 500yen ticket, which is not included in the price of the ticket to the museum.
