Clayton's 1910 Millhouse has been in our family for almost 100 years. We took all our experience on VRBO and totally updated it, combining the best of the new while keeping the atmosphere of days gone by. Relax on the front porch rockers overlooking the small lake or enjoy the sun setting on the deck where it is not unusual to see deer in the evenings. On the inside, we have updated every room. Enjoy your favorite movie on the 70-inch TVs located in the living room and bedroom. The house is decorated for Christmas with old and new items keeping the flavor of our historical house. Clayton's house was built by The Virginia Mills Company in 1910. The mill burned down but some of the houses remain. This one has been in our family for almost 100 years. In 2021/2022 we took our experience with VRBO to create an experience that we hope you will love. Everything is totally renovated yet we kept the atmosphere of a 1910 house. Several pieces of furniture are original to the house, such as the pie safe.
