Easy to find, right off I40, Red Rocks Park is a great place to camp, even in March. The hiking trails take you right up among the rock formations. Be prepared for a demanding hike—but the views are… Full review by CathyV773

I can't recommend this campground. You MUST call ahead for reservations (505 722-3839 - if the phone is answered), and an employee will meet you to provide a key for bathrooms - if the employee shows up. Lots of deferred maintenance. All-night noise from nearby freight rail line. Fee was $20 / night.
