Fantastic beach, great for a walk with the dog. An excellent beach, walk from Whitby to Sandsend when the tide is out. Great little cafe in Sandsend.Full review by Richard B

Hi, There is one large car park by the sea . It’s £6 per 24 hrs. It has about 100 spaces and gets very busy. It operates on coins or cards . It’s free , as are all car parks until 1/3! Don’t know where you are staying but our cottage gave us a residents car parking badge . I also think you can buy multible car parking at post office , useful if you are parking at Robin Hood ; Whitby; Runswick etc . The Hart Inn is a very good pub with car parking, gets busy and nice bistro over the road with parking. Hope this helps
