We visited on Monday morning. It was overwhelmingly peaceful, and we enjoyed the panoramic views. It is a well-maintained property, and the trails offer walkers of all levels to experience the legend…Full review by JOANNE M

Is the visit to the blowing rock site too difficult to negotiate for seniors with mobility issues?

There are a few areas with steps but otherwise it is pretty flat, especially to the main viewing area.

Yes pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and you pick up the waste at The Blowing Rock park. As for the Blue Ridge Parkway, pets are also welcomed.

How much time should i plan to see everything at the park
A:
I would plan an hour. It's a beautiful park and a great place to take pictures. The park itself isn't that big. Enjoy the views!
