Its a lovely small park and the fairy land has built up over a few years. People bring a fairy, ornament or whatever and it just builds up informally. A local public spirited man keeps an eye on everything to keep it safe and tidy and weed out anything damaged by the weather. There is a safe play area, a nice cafe and though dogs are allowed the owners generally keep it clean. If the weather is good walk up the prom or along the beach to New Brighton. This is a low key seaside but lots of place for a snack and Fort Perch Rock to explore cheaply. The beach is cleaned by the tides and the River Mersey is no longer polluted and there is lots of shipping to watch at high tide.
