Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran has confirmed that the Fordo nuclear site sustained “serious and heavy” damage following U.S. airstrikes. In an interview with CBS News, Araghchi said Iran is still assessing the extent of the destruction.

"No one exactly knows what has transpired in Fordow. That being said, what we know so far is that the facilities have been seriously and heavily damaged," Araghchi said

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi publicly admitted that U.S. airstrikes caused “serious damage” to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure — directly contradicting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s earlier claims that the attacks had minimal effect.
