Germain, as Inter Miami face the French champions in the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. This marks Messi’s first meeting with PSG since leaving Europe for Major League Soccer.

Paris Saint-Germain is in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup and will go up against Lionel Messi and Inter Miami in the knockout stage.

Though Miami made it into the Round of 16 regardless, the late collapse wasn't great — and it set up a battle with European champions PSG in the next round, something they nearly avoided. Palmeiras, now the winners of Group A, will get fellow Brazilian club Botafogo on Saturday (12 p.m. ET, DAZN) in Philadelphia.
