DaShawn Keirsey Jr. and Byron Buxton hit Minnesota’s first back-to-back homers this season, Chris Paddack pitched seven shutout innings and the Twins extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 4-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday.

The Twins have now won 10 straight following a pair of wins over the Orioles yesterday. Christian Vazquez and Brooks Lee went deep in the opener to lead the Twins to a 6-3 win. Minnesota rallied for three in the eighth on Kody Clemens’ home run to cap a comeback and complete the sweep with an 8-6 win.

The Orioles squandered another lead in Game 2 of a doubleheader sweep against the Twins as Yennier Cano allowed a late three-run homer.

The Baltimore batter tossed his bat gently up in the air and knocked it to the ground, then followed by spiking his helment more hardly into the grass. Hoye signaled to Laureano the ejection and the outfielder remarked a few choice words, took a couple of steps toward the umpire and pointed in his face before walking off.
