(Reuters) -England sealed a Twenty20 series victory over West Indies with two matches to spare in St Lucia on Thursday after a nervy final-over win in their third T20 clash. Following a lengthy rain delay,

England beat West Indies by three wickets in their T20 international in Saint Lucia on Thursday to take an insurmountable 3-0 lead in their five-match series. West Indies recovered from 37-5 to make 145-8 largely thanks to a solid 54 from skipper Rovman Powell but while England had some scares they won with four balls to spare.

England moved into an unassailable 3-0 lead in their five-match T20 series against the West Indies with a nervy three-wicket win in St Lucia. Saqib Mahmood’s three for 17 took his tally to nine wickets in three T20s – eight in the powerplay – as to reduce the West Indies to 37 for five before they recovered to post 145 for eight.
