All supported Pixel phones and tablets (the 6a and beyond) running Android 15 will get this update, Google says. Rollout will start today and continue over the next week in phases, depending on your carrier and device. You'll get a notification once the update is available.

Older Pixel smartphones might be left behind as a new Android 16 feature heads to newer Google devices. Google appears set to roll out a hotly anticipated Battery Health menu as part of Android 16 for Pixel phones – but only those released in the past year or so.

There was a part of me that thought we may not see a traditional May Android 15 security update for Pixel devices, knowing that Google is likely to release stable Android 16 in a couple of weeks at Google I/O.
