Girl Scouts began selling their famous boxes of cookies on Wednesday at booths in front of neighborhood stores and restaurants throughout San Antonio, including most local H-E-B and Wal-Mart stores. They will be on sale through March 2. Boxes of cookies will be sold at $5, the same price as last year.

Scout officials said by participating in the sales, the girls learn about decision making, goal setting, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
