Residents of a tiny Kentucky town are struggling to cope with a shooting involving a judge killed in his chambers and the sheriff charged with murder.

A Kentucky sheriff charged with fatally shooting a judge inside his chambers was accused of failing to investigate claims that a local deputy was sexually assaulting women under house arrest.

The two men were seen getting ready to go to lunch on the day of the shooting. Hours later, Judge Kevin Mullins was dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
