Tyler Van Dyke, whose only season at Wisconsin was cut short because of a major knee injury, is moving on to SMU. The quarterback’s transfer destination was reported by multiple media outlets Wednesday and his agent, Shawn O’Dare, congratulated him on social media.

The SMU Mustangs picked up a commitment Wednesday from former Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Van Dyke had transferred to Wisconsin for the 2024 season after an up-and-down career at Miami, but suffered a torn ACL in September that put a premature end to his only season with the Badgers.
