As of early Tuesday morning, Snow Squall Warnings spanned hundreds of miles from Pennsylvania to Maine, covering about 1.6 million people.

Visibility dropped rapidly Tuesday morning as snow squalls moved through the interior northeast including Syracuse, New York.

On Tuesday at 6:34 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a snow squall warning in effect until 7:15 a.m. for Potter and Tioga counties.
