Saturday and Sunday are First Alert Weather Alert Days for a major winter storm pushing through our area that will result in problematic road conditions and heavy snow into the start of the week. Officials have warned that travel may be "impossible" Sunday and into the start of the work week.

Most of the area under the winter storm watch can expect over 8 inches of snow and ice - possibly up to a foot or more - between Saturday and Monday morning.
