Universal Pictures put the speculation to rest on Monday, announcing that director Christopher Nolan’s next film will be The Odyssey, based on Homer’s epic poem and a central story of Greek mythology.

Christopher Nolan has shared news of his new project. The prolific and beloved filmmaker will be sharing his own take on "The Odyssey," the ancient Greek poem accredited to Homer following Odysseus' journey home following the Trojan war.

The Dune star has been in the East Coast city filming The Drama with Robert Pattinson for the last several months. The co-stars were photographed on set on Nov. 19 in Andover, Massachusetts, but Boston.com first reported that the Challengers actress was in the city on Oct. 17.
