0840 GMT - Oil prices decline after a surprise surge in U.S. crude oil stocks. Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, fell 0.4% to $79.80 a barrel while WTI fell 0.6% to $74.71 a barrel.
U.S. crude oil futures fell more than 4% on Sunday, after OPEC+ agreed to surge production for a second month. U.S. crude was down $2.49, or 4.27%, to $55.80 a barrel shortly after trading opened.
