A dozen groups have rented Bay Pointe Inn's Boathouse Villasince it opened at the beginning of June and the remainder of the summer is expected to be just as busy, owner Mike Powers said.

The BoatHouse Villa also includes access to all of the Bay Pointe Inn resort amenities, according to a news release announcing its reopening. The opening marks the resort's third expansion since 2008.
