WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTAJ) – The CDC reported high school mental health has improved, but that more students are experiencing school-based violence and are skipping school for safety reasons.
"One of our main priorities at [the] CDC is improving Americans’ mental health," Dr. Debra Houry, the CDC’s chief medical officer and deputy director for program and science, said in a statement.
