The parents of a 2-year-old girl found dead at the Red Roof Inn in Dumfries, Virginia, last month have been charged with felony murder in her death.

Police say that while the girl's mother called 911, her father allegedly removed items from the room before first responders arrived.

Authorities were called to the Red Roof Inn in Dumfries last month, where they found the toddler's body, police said.
