NOAA’s Weather Prediction Center has issued a Level 3 out of 4 risk of flash flooding for New York City, Long Island, as well as Coastal Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeastern
At 10:03 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood warning in effect until 11:45 p.m. for Madison, Oneida and Otsego counties.
A disturbance will skirt the southern half of the Tri-State Area Thursday afternoon and early evening, bringing the potential for isolated severe storms that could produce damaging wind gusts and localized flooding.
