The unofficial midway point of the 2025 college football season begins on Saturday with plenty of intriguing matchups in Week 8. Twenty-three of the teams ranked in the latest AP Top 25 poll will be in action this weekend, including five ranked-on-ranked matchups.

No. 17 Vanderbilt got things started with a gritty home win over No. 10 LSU after another huge performance by QB Diego Pavia. In the afternoon window, No. 9 Georgia overcame a stiff challenge from No. 5 Ole Miss in an SEC shootout. Then Arizona State pulled off a surprise, holding off a late charge by No. 7 Texas Tech to win their Big 12 clash.

Oklahoma State spanked the Bearcats in 2023, taking a 10-7 halftime lead, then blowing them out behind Ollie Gordon II's 271 rushing yards, 45-13. The Cowboys lead the series 3-1, with UC's last win coming in 1959 when George Blackburn's Bearcats began the season with a 22-9 victory in Stillwater.
