Police are looking for five suspects in a smash-and-grab Sunday afternoon at the Sunvalley Mall in Concord, the Concord Police Department said in a news release. The theft happened around 1:15 p.m. when five masked suspects walked into the Kay Jewelers store on the bottom floor of the mall.

Police in Concord are investigating what they describe as a "brazen" smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store Sunday.

Five men smashed a number of glass cases at Kay Jewelers inside Sunvalley Shopper Center in Concord, grabbing multiple pieces of jewelry and getting away in less than two minutes, police said.

All five got away with “numerous pieces of jewelry,” following the 1:15 p.m. smash-and-grab robbery at the Kay Jewelers inside the Sunvalley Shopping Center, according to a statement from Concord police.
