Based in downtown Cincinnati, Kroger employs 414,000 workers nationwide, including roughly 20,000 in Greater Cincinnati. The latest job cuts were not disclosed in any filings with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or the state of Ohio. Kroger operates 76 stores in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky employing 14,500 associates.

Kroger eliminated additional jobs March 13. The cuts come roughly a month after hundreds of jobs were cut in Cincinnati. Kroger said the moves restructured a few teams and eliminated some roles.

Kroger is cutting more jobs as part of their "restructuring" efforts. In a statement, a Kroger spokesperson confirmed to WLWT they are eliminating roles, saying, "Kroger is committed to providing our customers the freshest food at affordable prices.
