Fast-moving fires across Los Angeles County led to the postponement of Thursday night’s Charlotte Hornets game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA announced.

The Charlotte Hornets head to crypto.com Arena to face the Los Angeles Lakers in a non-conference matchup. The Hornets are 8-27, which puts them in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. The Lakers are 20-16, which puts them in sixth place in the Western Conference.

For the past few seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have not been the dominant franchise that many are accustomed to. The team had one Western Conference Finals run in the 2023 NBA season, but they came off of being in the Play-In tournament numerous times.
