2020: Meadville Market House celebrates local focus as it turns 150. The new restaurant at the Market House will be Kettle Lake Kitchen, founded in Conneaut Lake in spring 2019.

The Meadville location opened in October 2021 at its current spot, the site of the former 1776 Bar & Grill. Closed everything but Meadville by 2022. Filed for bankruptcy in February.

Located on a sweeping curve of Onancock Creek, Meadville represents another example of the Eastern Shore’s distinctive “big house, little house, colonnade and kitchen” architecture.
