There are many different trails up Mount Mansfield, but I recommend starting in Underhill State Park and hiking the Sunset Ridge Trail. It’s a 3.3-mile climb to the summit and quite strenuous.

Just a two hour drive away is the perfect location for a great summer getaway or a girls’ weekend.
