William Sawalich, a rookie driver for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation after a hard crash at Talladega in the United Rentals 250.

William Byron slammed into Ty Dillon seriously damaging Byron's NASCAR Cup Series championship hopes with just 31 laps left in the NASCAR Vegas race on Oct. 12. Byron, in the No. 24 Hendricks Motorsports Chevrolet, led 55 laps and was in second place at the time of the crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR fans are praying for Daniel Suarez and his family after his wife, mother and mother-in-law were involved in a bad wreck last week. Suarez was in a competition meeting ahead of this past weekend’s race when he received news that his family was involved in a crash.
