Once a year, or twice a year depending on the location, Native American designers, artists, and artisans join together for Native Fashion Week.
The community is invited to Antonio Garra Day on March 22 to commemorate the Native American leader who fought for tribal rights and sovereignty in Southern California and Northern Baja.
The national day meant to promote education and awareness about HIV and AIDS for Native American communities has had federal support in the past, but support for the day is unknown.
