San Jose Sharks fans showed up in droves to SAP Center on Saturday to pay tribute to one of hockey's all-time greats, larger-than-life personality "Jumbo" Joe Thornton.

Thornton entered the NHL as the No. 1 overall pick by Boston but had his greatest success in 15 seasons with San Jose following a trade to the Sharks on Nov. 30, 2005.
