I love making steak and kidney pudding - but can you suggest any other fillings that would go well into a suet crust? I wondered if meat like venison was suitable, or rabbit or poultry.

Suet is used in traditional boiled, steamed or baked savoury and sweet puddings, such as steak and kidney pudding, spotted dick and jam roly-poly.

A pudding for me should be warm, may or may not have a fruity element, and always be served with cream, custard, ice cream or all three. But that’s only my opinion.
