Shinde Chhatri is an 18th century memorial located in the Wanawadi area in Pune. It is dedicated to the Maratha leader Mahadji Shinde who was the commander-in-chief of the Peshwas from 1760 to 1780.

According to reports, the incident occurred at around 2 pm near Jagtap Dairy Chowk in Pune's Wanawadi area, where a motorcyclist collided with an elderly woman, causing her to suffer minor injuries.
