A Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail train was delayed for an hour Sunday evening, when it came into contact with an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on the tracks near the West Concord train station.

The person was taken to a hospital by medical helicopter after the incident, which was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Roads were closed in the area, and commuter rail trains were delayed as a result.

An MBTA commuter rail train slowly headed west to Fitchburg collided with a car on Feb. 24, 2025 around 7 p.m., according to the Concord Fire Department.
