President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are holding a news conference at the White House on Tuesday around 5:00 pm, after discussions about the ongoing ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Tuesday's appearance with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be President Trump's first joint news conference with a foreign leader in his new term.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will brief the press Wednesday afternoon, a day after President Trump floated the idea that the U.S. take over the Gaza Strip, as the war-ravaged region is under a fragile ceasefire.
