As James Gunn continues shaping his new DCU, fan speculation has reached an all-time high, especially when it comes to iconic roles like Wonder Woman. One name that has been gaining serious traction in online discussions is Adria Arjona.

In an interview with Extra, Gunn opened up about Arjona and whether or not she'd fit the part of Wonder Woman. “I follow Adria on Instagram, but everybody came out [and thought], ‘He just followed her, that means she’s Wonder Woman,'” she said.

Fans have been speculating for weeks now that Gunn may cast Andor and Hit Man actress Adria Arjona as the next Wonder Woman, taking over the helm from Gal Gadot. Gunn recently dispelled the rumors but he may have added some fuel to the fire by noting she would do a “great” job as Diana Prince.
