Google has responded to the earthquake in Haiti by quickly updating its Google Earth function with satellite images taken after the destruction of Port-au-Prince.

The quake was centred around 12 miles (20kilometress) west-northwest of Ti Port-de-Paix off Haiti's north coast ... where 90 percent of the world’s earthquakes occur.
