Three people were found dead in a home in Butler County due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, authorities said. First responders were called to a home on College Street in Butler at around 5 p.m.

Three people are dead and two others were hospitalized following a possible carbon monoxide leak inside of a home in Butler County Tuesday night. Butler County dispatch confirmed People's Gas and emergency responders were called to the scene along the 100 block of College Street following reports of a possible leak.

There’s a large emergency response at a Butler home after three people were found dead. Channel 11 saw firefighters, police and medics at a home on College Street on Tuesday afternoon. We’ve learned that three people were found dead from possible carbon monoxide poisoning. The deaths are under investigation.

Five school employees were transported to hospitals with symptoms consistent with mild to moderate exposure to carbon monoxide.

The Syracuse Fire Department said a body was found at the Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School on Tuesday morning.
