The Fox television show "Kitchen Nightmares" began filming across New Orleans in mid-September, but the show also stopped on the West Bank this week to film at a restaurant in Westwego. Westwego city officials confirmed on Monday that Voleo's Restaurant is the fifth New Orleans area filming location for Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares."

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is filming in New Orleans this week for his rebooted "Kitchen Nightmares" show, according to Chelsea Shannon at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune. Why it matters: His disastrous visit to Oceana in 2011 led to the restaurant suing the show twice.

As with all episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, Chef Ramsay streamlined the menu using fresh ingredients and gave the restaurant a makeover. Gone was the graffiti wall. Instead, Gordon's crew opted for a more rustic and traditional look. This made DaMimmo much warmer, inviting, and less obnoxious.
