All evacuation orders for the Hollywood Hills Sunset Fire have been lifted Thursday after water-dropping aircraft slowed the fire's advance overnight, allowing for full-containment by the afternoon. The Sunset Fire was first reported just after 5:30 p.

The Sunset fire began burning in the Hollywood Hills between Runyon Canyon and Wattles Park on Wednesday evening.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has fully contained the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills, city officials said. All evacuation orders were lifted earlier this morning for those impacted by the fire.
