Curious George is who we are. Well-meaning and disastrous, impulsive and forgetful, selfish and ingenious and in constant need of forgiveness. He may be the most human character in postwar literature.

Christopher meets a number of minor characters along the way including 'Man with Socks', 'Punk Girl', a number of policemen, Reverend Peters and his head teacher, Mrs Gascoyne.
