Police identified several Muscatine businesses and buildings that were targeted including Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, Jibaro Restaurant, Pete’s Tap Bar & Grill, Muscatine City Hall, Susan Clark Junior High School and Muscatine Community College.
The Muscatine police are currently investigating the situation. They say one of the buildings had a damaged window and one of the restaurants had received threatening emails. Muscatine Mayor Brad Bark also gave a statement condemning the hateful vandalism.
