The New Orleans Saints officially rescheduled their in-person interviews with several head coach candidates after a historic snowstorm struck the Gulf South:

Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is one step closer to landing a head coaching job this hiring cycle. The New Orleans Saints are bringing in Weaver for a second interview for their head coaching vacancy on Wednesday,

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter is now reporting that the Saints have been able to set up some in-person interviews with their top remaining candidates.

The Bears, who interviewed Anthony Weaver for their head coaching vacancy, are going in a different direction.

ESPN’s Jeff Darlington doesn’t think Anthony Weaver is going anywhere, even if a team makes an offer for him to become a head coach.

Several teams have hired new head coaches this offseason, but one team still looking for their next leader is the New Orleans Saints. After a severe snowstorm delayed their interview process, the Saints have rescheduled interviews with several of their top candidates, including former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

NFL Network reports the New Orleans Saints are planning second interviews with coaches still in the playoffs like Joe Brady and Kellen Moore:

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Saints are postponing several of their scheduled coaching interviews, including their talk with Weaver, due to a winter storm in the Gulf Coast. The weather delay could change things, though.

The Saints are moving into the in-person interview stage of their head coach search, and will meet with Mike Kafka and Anthony Weaver this week.

The Saints were supposed to meet with Mike Kafka, Aaron Glenn and Anthony Weaver on Tuesday and Wednesday but Mother Nature had other plans:
