The Atlanta Falcons announced announced on Saturday that they have interviewed former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus for their vacant defensive coordinator position. The move comes as the team continues its search for a leader to revamp a defense that struggled during the 2024 season.

In January of 2022, newly named Chicago Bears general manager, Ryan Poles chose to hire Matt Eberflus away from his job as defensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts after the 2021 season.
