The Minnesota Wild have made a few roster moves following the injury news. Defenseman Jonas Brodin has been placed on Long-Term Injury Reserve and forward Kirill Kaprizov has been placed on Injured Reserve.

The Minnesota Wild will face a minimum of four weeks without superstar Kirill Kaprizov after it was determined Tuesday that he requires surgery to repair his lingering lower-body injury. Sources close to Kaprizov said the winger is scheduled to undergo surgery Friday.

The Minnesota Wild have placed defenseman Jonas Brodin on long-term injured reserve, retroactive to January 7th. Brodin has missed the last nine games with a lower-body injury that he sustained on January 7th against the St.

Rest during the holiday break wasn’t enough for Wild superstar Kirill Kaprizov to return from a lower-body injury. Missing 12 games over five weeks didn’t sufficiently enable the injury to heal after a three-game return.
