NFL insider Albert Breer reported that the Raiders are interviewing former Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera for its head coaching vacancy on Friday.

Along with the usual AFC West slate, the Silver and Black will face the AFC South and NFC East, plus the fourth-place finishers in the AFC North, NFC North and AFC East.

For the second straight year, the Las Vegas Raiders are on the hunt for a new head coach. Antonio Pierce was fired after one full year on the job, and now the Raiders are hoping that with Tom Brady as a minority owner, they can land a solid head coaching option to compete with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

And yet, a new coach is probably looking at a total rebuild in an AFC West division boasting coach-quarterback combos such as Andy Reid- Patrick Mahomes with the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs, Jim Harbaugh- Justin Herbert with the Los Angeles Chargers and Sean Payton- Bo Nix with the Denver Broncos.
