The latest addition to the list of wrong navigation data provided by Google Maps is when the application misled a team of Assam Police to cross the border of the state and drive into Nagaland.

Today, the state government of Assam in partnership with the Tata group will make Assam a major player in sophisticated semiconductors. This new development will put Assam on the global map.

An Assam Police team mistakenly crossed into Nagaland guided by Google Maps and got detained by locals who mistook them for criminals. The officers were released after a night in captivity.
